This page only has the necessary dll files and some instructions for Windows 7.

Let's do it!

Download the zip file.

Attention: You may have to be signed in on your computer's Administrator account in order to be able to do the following.

Windows 7 32-bit

Unzip the files and save them all into both the system32 AND system folder:

Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS > system32
AND
Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS > system

Windows 7 64-bit

Unzip the files and save them into the SysWOW64 folder:

Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS > SysWOW64

You might find that some of your plugins will not work with Windows 7 (same issue as with Vista).
If you had the plugin for quite a while, it is worth downloading it again, some have newer versions which work with Windows 7.

The program "FM Patcher" is available here (free to download and use).
With this program it is possible to get quite a few plugins converted so that they work with Windows 7. The program has to be installed.
Unfortunately some plugins will not work in Windows 7, no matter what you do.
