Overgrown Magic Frame and BG Tutorial
By ©LismibaebisCreations

I have used one of my own photographs for this tutorial
I give permission to use this photograph (photo_Lismibaebi2008) for this tutorial, and/or any other tutorial you might wish to do, as long as you add my watermark to the finished image and give me credit for the photograph
Because of the nature of this tutorial, it will not work correctly if I add the watermark to the image to download
The Gold Pattern and Presets may be used at any time
You do not need to give me credit for those
Skill Level: Intermediate & Adventurous Others
Knowledge of using Masks necessary
(or learn how to get started with my ABC Tutorials)
This tutorial is my own creation, any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental
Program shortcuts will be given in parentheses
Needed
Paint Shop Pro - I used X2
Free 30 day PSP trial from Corel, available
here
Letter Creator from Incredimail (optional), available
here
Filters
Xero Caravaggio,
download the xero xl file
Materials
The zip file is available here
It contains the Graphic, Gold Pattern, Deformation Map, User Defined Filter Preset and my Watermark
If you choose another graphic, make sure it is a very busy graphic, ideally flowers or forest. Graphics, which are dark all around the outside seem to work best with this tutorial
You might wish to choose a different Pattern for your graphic
Performance Notes
This tutorial is in 3 parts:
- Preparation
- Frame
- Background
The settings for different Tools and Effects will stay the same throughout the tutorial, unless new setting instructions are given
Don't forget to save your work often
