Paint Shop Pro - I used X2
(Tutorial will work with other versions)

Performance Notes
This tutorial is in 2 parts:

- Tag
The settings for different Tools and Effects will stay the same throughout the tutorial, unless new setting instructions are given

Preparation
1) Download the mask and save to your Mask folder
(If necessary)
2) File > Open
Open image of choice
3) Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)
Close original
4) Edit > Copy
5) Dropper Tool (E)
Left click in image to choose a light to medium Foreground color
(I chose #ccc3b5)
Right click in image to choose a dark to very dark Background color
(I chose #20242a)
Tag
6) File > New
Settings:
Width = 550 Pixels
Height = 250 Pixels
Resolution = 72.000 Pixels/inch
Raster Background = Checked
Color depth = RGB / 8 bits channel
Transparent = Checked
7) Flood Fill Tool (F)
Settings:
Match mode = None
Use all layers = Not checked
Blend mode = Normal
Opacity = 100
8) Right click to flood fill with Background Color
9) Edit > Paste As New Layer
(Your tube)
10) Image > Resize
Settings:
Resample using = Bicubic
Lock aspect ratio = Checked
Resize all layers = Not checked
Resolution = 72.000 Pixels / Inch
Width = 80%
Height = 80%
11) Edit > Repeat
If necessary - as many times as necessary so that most of the tube is visible
12) Effects > Plugins > MuRa's Meister > Copies
Settings: Wallpaper
Number = 20
Shift X = 50, Shift Y = 50
Angle = 0, Rotation = 0
Attenuation = 0, Scale = 100
Thru BG Range = 0
Fade Out = 0
13) Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
Settings:
Angle = 133
Strength = 75 %
14) Adjust > Blur > Radial Blur
Settings:
Spin = Checked
Strength = 90 %
Elliptical = Checked
Horizontal offset = 50 %
Vertical offset = 50 %
Protect center = 10 %
15) Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur
Settings:
Radius = 15.00
16) Effects > Distortion Effects > Ripple
Settings:
Horizontal (%) = 8
Vertical (%) = 92
Amplitude = 62
Wavelength = 7
Edge mode = Wrap
17) Layers > Load/Save Mask > Load Mask From Disk
Settings:
Mask = lbm14
Source luminance = Checked
Fit to layer = Checked
Invert transparency = Not checked
Hide all mask = Checked
18) Layers > Merge > Merge Group
19) Layers > New Raster Layer
20) Selection Tool (S) > Custom selection
Settings:
Top = 145
Left = 0, Right = 550
Bottom = 215
21) Flood Fill Tool
Left click to flood fill with Foreground Color
22) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Settings:
Horizontal & Vertical = 0
Opacity = 70, Blur = 10.00
Color = Black
Shadow on new layer = Not checked
23) Layers > New Raster Layer
24) Selection Tool (S) > Custom selection
Settings:
Top = 150
Left = 0, Right = 550
Bottom = 210
25) Right click to flood fill with Background Color
26) Adjust > Add/Remove Noise
Settings:
Gaussian = 20%
Monochrome = Checked
27) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
28) Selections > Select None
29) Edit > Paste As New Layer
(Your tube)
30) Image > Resize
If necessary - until you have as much of the tube visible as you want
31) Move Tool (M)
Move tube to position of your liking
32) Adjust > Sharpness > Unsharp Mask
Settings:
Radius = 1.00, Strength = 47
Clipping = 5
Luminance only = Checked
(Or a setting of your liking)
33) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
34) Layers > New Raster Layer
35) Selections > Select All
36) Flood Fill Tool
Left click to flood fill with Foreground Color
37) Adjust > Add/Remove Noise
38) Selections > Modify > Contract
Settings:
Number of Pixels = 5
39) Edit > Clear
40) Selections > Select None
41) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
42) Optional:
Layers Palette
Activate the Tube layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top
43) Layers > New Raster Layer
44) Add your artists copyrights
45) Text Tool (T)
Settings:
Font = KG Falling Slowly (or Font of choice)
Size = 56 Points (or what suits your Font and Text)
Alignment = Center
Direction = Horizontal and Down
Anti-alias = Sharp
Stroke width = 1.5
Create as Vector
Auto kern = Checked
Kerning = 0 (or what suits your Font and Text)
46) Type Text of choice and click on Apply
47) Layers > Convert to Raster Layer
48) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
49) Move Tool
Move text to place of choice
50) File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
Settings:
Set Compression value to = 10
Chroma subsampling = YCbCr 2x2 1x1 1x1
Save Exif data = Not checked
